Because of its great storyline, incredible make up and costume, captivating portrayal of characters and mind blowing special effects, the trilogy has a combined gross of over a 2.7 billion dollars in ticket sales and merchandise worldwide! If that is not successful, then no one knows what success is!

The movies’ endearing story, funny antics and unending humor has kept movie fanatics wanting for more. Aside from the breathtaking technical aspect of the three films, the thing that has also captivated the viewers are the characters of the movie. Its main casts include Orlando Bloom, who played the blacksmith protagonist Will Turner, Keira Knightley, as the fierce and beautiful Elizabeth Swann, Geoffrey Rush as the cunning Captain Hector Barbossa, Bill Nighy as the overall antagonist, Davy Jones and last but definitely not least, Johnny Depp as the charming and humorous pirate Jack Sparrow.

Jack Sparrow is considered to be one of the most beloved characters by many in movie history. He has influenced a lot of people from his unique hair to his worn out attire. Since the release of the first movie, a lot of people became very fond of doing Jack Sparrow impersonations. They use it for shows, special events and even for Halloween parties. A thought to keep in mind is that the shabbier the look, the better! As for the hat, if you already have the exact replica then great, but if you don’t, then do not fret! You can always improvise and use bandannas to wrap around the top of your head. This is actually also worn by Jack Sparrow in the movie. Just remember, all you have to do is to be resourceful!

In doing the makeup, the most highlighted ones are his eyes. You can try putting on heavy eye shadow around the eyes, to make it look more mysterious and daring. You can also use black yarns for the goatee of Jack Sparrow. As for the teeth, you can try adding gold foils around it to make it look like gold just like pirate teeth. The last thing that you need to do is your wardrobe. As much as possible do not buy new ones! Always look first inside your closet and see which ones are available. You can use a worn out white long sleeved shirt, topped with a rugged looking brown vest. Then you can wear dark brown baggy pants matching a heavy buckled belt and old boots. You can also have a fake sword to go with the outfit to complete the perfect Jack Sparrow look that will surely be a great hit during the Halloween season!

In doing this kind of costume, all you have to remember is that you should always unleash your creativity and inner artistry. The scarcity of your materials won’t matter that much as long as you are open to eccentric ideas and unconventional designs. As we all know, Jack Sparrow is unique, that is why he clearly stands out!
