GH-Best and worst of 2008?
What were some of your favorite, or least favorite, moments/couples/friendships/storylines of 2008 on General Hospital?
Best-Alexis and Diane (in fact, any scene w/Diane in it), Maxie and Spinelli, Monica getting to see Alan on Christmas, Sonny getting to see Morgan for Christmas, all the scenes w/Carly/Jason/Sonny in the aftermath of Michael’s shooting, Luke and Laura, Maxie and Lulu as frenemies, Robin and Patrick’s wedding, The Scorpio’s, Jason and Spinelli, crazy Anthony Zacharra
Worst-Jason and Sonny “breaking up”, Carly and Sonny’s limo sex, Michael getting shot, the push/pull between Liason, Sonny turning into the biggest jerk on the show, creepy bloody Logan in Lulu’s hallucinations, Johnny and Lourdes and their piano lessons, not bringing Genie Francis back for good, not letting someone read The Christmas Story (even just ghost Alan), all things involving Kate/Connie, all things involving Sonny fathering yet another child (ie: Olivia)
Best – Laura’s return and the shows with Scotty and Luke
Worst – Laura leaving AGAIN and the show not using flashbacks from Scotty and Laura’s romance. At one time HE was her HERO. They were very sweet in the 70s.
Best – Liz and Jason FINALLY getting together.
Worst – not finding a way to make it work.
But I love the QUAD with Sam, Liz, Lucky and Jason.
Best – The aftermath of Michael’s Coma.
Worst – Sonny and Carly limo sex
worst/Most boring characters – Nadine and The Killing doctor and Kate and Sonny together. Lulu with Johnny. I don’t get that one at all!!! I thought the Lulu and logan story was great – you know Scott’s son with Luke’s daughter – that could have been the basis for great stories for many years to come. I actually missed most of the scenes with Johnny and Lourdes as I find him so boring I fast forward thourgh most of them.
Best characters – Diane with Alexis – so great!!!!
Luke with Tracy.
I was a Luke and Laura fan for generations,
but he and Tracy are Equals and funny!!!
Spinelli but only with Maxie
Worst – No one reading the Christmas story. I also thought that they could have Ghost Alan read the story. The Russion Mob…I mean who the heck cares. Not using Sarah Brown better. I love her and I enjoy Claudia a lot, buuuuutttttt. Lets have some more Ric and Claudia . Use them to bring down Sonny.
The BEST story line for me was the romance between Robin and Patrick. It was grown up, sweet and real. And it took time to play out. The didn’t jump into their relationship too fast. It also allowed us to see flashbacks with Robert and Anna and little Robin. Don’t you love the fact that it played out in the hospital? I mean the name of the show is General Hospital, afterall
