Toddler birthday party ideas are one of the most fun events that you will handle, since your child during his toddler years is at the most imaginative and the options for transforming his special day into something even more magical is great during this time of his life. Here are the ten most popular themes that you can choose from:

Fairy – Nothing beat making a fairy out of your toddler. Bring in the colorful fairy wings from the toy store and the magical wands and add some glitter and pink around the house to make an easily enchanting birthday party for your child.

Cowboy – with a little brown ruffles, a toy lasso, and a rodeo hat you can begin your toddler’s party set in the land of wild horses and handsome little cowboys. Watch as they ride their steeds across the living room, and be prepared with a good snack afterwards.

Elf – few things spell magic as well as an elf themed birthday party. With the funny green shoes with pointy tip and a few magic spells, your little elves can begin digging for gold that you have hidden around the house.

Chocolate – one of the most delicious toddler birthday party ideas is to make a chocolate party where the kids can hunt for their favorite chocolate pieces around the house, and dip their favorite fruits and breads in a chocolate fountain.

Water – add some fun in your toddler’s summer birthday with a water party by the kid’s pool or simply an inflatable backyard pool. Bring in the water guns as well for some water games – just be sure to keep the snacks dry and covered.

Trampoline – another classic toddler birthday idea is the use of trampolines. Being the little energy balls that toddlers tend to be, put them in a trampoline and let them bounce to their heart’s content. Be sure to take photographs of the kids in mid-air for giveaways and for the family album.

Pony – toddlers will adore ponies. If you can’t rent out a real one, then settle for a realistic toy pony. Today, there are many to choose from, and your kid will enjoy sitting on them all the same. Pop in a video on the television and watch some ponies in action to elicit ooohs and aaahs from the kids.

Farm – one of the best features of kids is the great joy that they can get from farm play. Your child and his friends can start running a farm with a little toy barn and some farm animal toys, or you can buy some costumes and your children can become the farm animals themselves.

Doll – because of the great imaginativeness that kids naturally possess, you can try a doll themed birthday party. Best of all, the doll house that you can use for the birthday party can already be the best gift that you give your child.

Cupcake – finally, one of the toddler birthday party ideas that you should try out is the cupcake party. Prepare the table with a bunch of cupcakes, cookie bits, taffy, icing, and let your toddlers create their own cupcake family. And after the decorating, the toddlers also have their snacks cut out for them.

The list for themes and toddler birthday party games is endless. All you need to do is to be creative and you’ll have that remarkable birthday party for your child.

Fancy Dress – ideas anyone??

I’m one of two hosts of a fancy dress birthday party. We’ve made3 the theme holidays, so anything to do with … Christmas, Australia Day, Easter, Labour Day, Vanlentine’s Day, St Patrick’s Day – just the obvious holidays.
I need to stand out. It can be lame, cos I reckon making the costume will make it so much funnier!
The other host is going as an Australian Flag and she’s making the costume.

I’m stuck on ideas!!! I’d love anyone to give me their take.
By the way, I’m a male.

Cheers to all the replies in advance!

There are tons:
For Christmas you could dress up as an Elf and carry a giant candy cane.
Or you could be a gift- a giant box wrapped in bright paper with a big bow on your head. That’s quite an easy one to make.
For Labor Day you could carry a big spade and wear overalls. (Although I really like the pregnant idea- cute pun)
For Easter you could get a Bunny costume, and carry a basket of eggs which you can hand out to the guests. These could make nice party favours too.
