Will the Simpson’s first major motion picture be as good as South Park’s Bigger, Longer, and Uncut?

I’ve been a huge Simpson’s fan ever sinse the first Christmas Special aired on t.v. back in 1989 and I immediately fell in love with South Park when I watched Jesus vs Santa for the first time on a bootleg video in ’96 so I’m a huge fan of both cartoons. Being in my late 20′s now I’m just wondering if the Simpson’s movie is going to be as funny to me now as South Park was 8 years ago when I was still a teen.

I hope so. I liked the Simpsons a lot for the first eight or so seasons, but then the writing fell off.

I liked the South Park movie and thought it was hysterically funny that “Blame Canada” was nominated for Best Song. And then watching Robin Williams sing it on the Oscar show — HA!
