Christmas wish list – do I sound spoiled?

I am 13. I love Christmas. I love recieving as much as I love giving. And I always feel bad when I write my wishlist. I already wrote my list and my parents are done shopping, but I feel kind of guilty. This was a wish for my whole family – my cousin, Grandma, parents, and sister. What do you think?

Gift Card
American Girl Outfits
Webkinz
A pair of boots – not UGGs. A pair from Wally World.
An iPod dock
HSM3 Soundtrack
Hairspray DVD
Hair supplies (headbands)
Calender

I wrote on my list: Please note – I’d be happy with anyone of these, so the are just ideas.

Please tell me what you think!
We are middle class – both parents in restuaraunt business. Dad manager, mom is waitress, transcriptonist for cancer office, and Avon lady.

I don’t expect all the stuff on my list. My parents prob. will get me some opf the stuff and some for my birthday in April. Thanks to everyone so far!

Aww…it’s sweet that you wanted to get gifts for your family too.

I feel guilty when I write my list too, and funny, I always write the “Please note – I’d be happy with any one of these gifts, these are just ideas” at the end of my list as well! That’s funny… ^_^

Anyway, I don’t think it’s spoiled. I mean, sure, you probably are better off than a lot of other kids, and you should recognize that, but the fact that you are asking for gifts for others on your list and that you aren’t demanding the gifts shows that you are probably not spoiled.

I always write everything I want on my list, even if I’m sure they won’t get it for me, just in case they can’t find a gift or something, but I make it clear that they don’t have to buy me that gift (or any gifts, for that matter.)

So no, you don’t sound spoiled. Just make sure you get a gift for your family members as well! =D

Have a very merry Christmas. ;)

~Kitty, age 14.

Soul

(Amazon.co.uk Review) Soul is a confusing beast. We know Seal has a great voice and can easily imagine him being covering golden oldies with aplomb. Yet this collection of soul favourites is frustratingly patchy. Opener “A Change Is Gonna Come” is impassioned and beautifully arranged (the album is helmed by David Foster of Celebrity Duets fame, who has made sure it sounds fresh and compelling), an…

The third and final season of Seth MacFarlane’s late, lamented Family Guy finds television’s most dysfunctional cartoon family even more animated than usual.
