How do i tune my ukelele?!?

I was wondering how i tune my ukelele. I’m on youtube listening to the sounds of the ukelele but i don’t no how to get them. I try to twist the nobbs but i’m not sure which way makes it softer or tighter. For example: If i wanted a lower note for that string would i twist it to make the string softer or tighter?

you twist them the opposite way depending on which side the knobs are on. Its probably easier just to turn them any old way and listen to whether the pitch is getting higher or lower. Also are you sure the person on youtube has the same ukulele as you, because some of them sound different.
