What is the history of the 1969 Boys Town Nebraska Christmas seal?

I have three horizontal rows of five stamps. There are two different stamps, one of children decorating a Christmas tree outside and one of a little boy, it says “Please, Father, I’m all alone”. I would just like to know the history and the rarity of it. Thank you.

Boy’s Town was established in 1917 by Father Edward Flanagan to help abused and neglected children. As far as rarity, the stamps don’t appear to be particularly rare as they are being sold online for $4.75 per sheet.
