I’ve never known anyone personally that was born on Christmas, but have heard of many.

The number one gripe I have heard of for Christmas birthdays is that they get Christmas themed gifts (ornaments, Christmas Decorations, Christmas clothes, etc.) for their birthday – and hate it, or no matter what the gift is, it’s always wrapped in Christmas paper.

Also, especially for little kids, the already mentioned shortage of gifts, i.e. well meaning relatives who give a joint Christmas & birthday gift. And these kids are not selfish for wanting their birthday kept separate from Christmas!!

I was born in November and it has taken me 30 years to convince people that I WANT to receive Christmas themed things for my birthday because I am such a Christmas nut and that I would be tickled pink if my birthday presents were wrapped in Christmas paper!

I think a Christmas birthday is cool! And as long as you honor her birthday with as much importance as Christmas, she will be just fine with it!
