my car just got hit by a neighbor?

So there was a Christmas party at my neighbor’s and I heard a crash, before I could reach the door, the guy knocked on the door and told me he hit my Car. He gave me his insurance info and his phone number. I’m in Alberta, so what do I do now? The guy seems nice, don’t want to rip the poor guy off, but I need to use the vehicle badly. I only have Liability insurance, so what steps should I take now?

so….He should have already notified his insurance of the accident but if he hasn’t, his company will call him and verify it as soon as you call them.
