Super Mario Brothers party theme for a kids birthday party…sounds like fun! If your child is an avid fan of game and film classic superheroes Super Mario Brothers, then most likely he or she will want a Super Mario Brothers theme party. Super Party Supplies

Because the Super Mario Brother characters, Mario and Luigi, have been around for a couple of decades now, it is easy to find party supplies like party hats, personalized invitation cards, and party favors. You can even make these on your own, just make sure to download lots and lots of Super Mario pictures from the internet. Cut them into small pieces and get ready to glue them to the hats, cards and goody bags. When the pictures are ready, it’s time to make those party items.

Starting off with the invitation cards, fold some heavy paper into squares (fold each sheet in half and then in half again to make it a card) or you can cut it into a shape that matches your party theme. Fill in all your party details…the place, time, and reason for this party. Don’t forget your phone number and an RSVP date. An RSVP is very helpful when you are planning your party supplies and menu. It is helpful to know the number of guests who will be attending.

You can make party hats by getting thick colored papers, cut them into the shape of a hat, it’s almost like a rounded triangle, staple both ends and attach a string.

For the goody bags, you can buy them at a local store or you can paste some of your clip art to a small white paper bag . If you have extra pictures left when your party supplies are completed, just use the extra pictures of Mario and Luigi on the hats, cards and goody bags. Add some goodies inside the goody bag- Super Mario crayons, pencils, candies and coloring books are easy enough to find. Now, no Super Mario party is complete without the 1 Up Mushroom Burger, complete with green buns. Begin with the patty preparation. The ingredients needed are: one large white onion diced, 12 ounces of Portobello mushrooms, chopped, one and a half teaspoon of kosher salt, two eggs, some bread crumbs, two teaspoons of minced garlic, olive oil and ground pepper for seasoning.

Wash all the ingredients before slicing.

Mix onions, garlic, olive oil, mushrooms, salt and pepper. Set aside.

Whip the eggs and add the bread crumbs.

Add the mushroom mix to the bread crumbs preparation. Mix well. Form your burgers and you are almost ready to cook them. Refrigerate them until you are ready to use them.

Next would be the green buns. What you need are: round crusty brown buns, one teaspoon green food coloring, two teaspoons of water and some mozzarella cheese. To make them green and “mushroomy”, all you have to do is:

Mix water and the green food coloring.

Dip a brush on the mixture and sweep over the buns.

Make some holes on the buns and fill them with mozzarella cheese to make it look like mushroom spots.

For the fixings, all that’s needed are 8 slices of mozzarella cheese, slices of juicy red tomatoes, some pesto and mayo. Just add these to the burgers as soon as they are ready. Now you have 8 1 Up Mushroom Burgers for your kid’s party! You can double, triple or even quadruple the preparation depending on how many guests you will have.

I’m not very good at putting together a catchy saying so I could use some help.

Come and celebrate the festive season with me/us and a Fancy party! (i suggest you write the word fancy in curly, fancy writting and the rest in plain so the word fancy will stand out!)
