foods for Christmas party….?
We are having our Christmas party in the first week of December, and its between 10am-12pm and I was wondering what are some good food items to serve that early in the morning at a christmas party. It was be a Skating rink. Any Ideas will be appreciated.

yes their will be children and its a roller skating rink. i think we might be doing a rudolph theme not sure on that yet.
ok well skating rinks are a tad cool so there should be a couple of items that ppl can use to warm up with like a warm soup they can drink/eat from a cup- chili or homestyle chicken noodle are usually popular or even a tomato soup is good
Finger foods, build your own sandwich with turkey, ham, salami, summer sausage, lettuce, cheese, tomato slices and pickle slices
a fruit tray of say grapes, pineapple, apple orange segments all can be eaten plain or dipped in a yogurt fruit dip. A tray of cookies and dessert bars are always welcome. Could offer hot chocolate and hot cider if anyones interested. Specially if its a kids included event. Chips and dip, chips and salsa, veggie tray and dip, relish tray if you think ppl might go for it.
Sorry if it seems kinda blah, I got one kid sleeping and the other yanking on my arm at the same time..lol Good luck and Have fun at the party.
OK now that I know its a roller rink, still go with the easy finger foods like chips, dip, veggie tray, build your own sandwich or order a party sub and do 2 ft of a 6 ft with different meats. Do the drinks like apple cider, sodas for those liking mild drinks and if interested Mulled Cider for those who like something a bit stronger. Think snack/lunch ideas and they will be happy.
