Christmas party menu ideas?

Hello, my husbands family is coming to our house on Christmas Day. At first everyone was coming over around 2, so I had planned on making a few finger foods liked baked brie and fresh bread, fruit salsa and chips, veggies and dip, and also a couple desserts. Now the time has been moved to 5pm and I’m not sure what to serve. I kind of picked 2 so I didn’t have to make a meal Having other family members contribute dishes isn’t an option (they are easily overwhelmed and would rather not bring anything). Another thing is my husband, sons and I are vegetarians and the rest of the family isn’t, I’m not totally opposed to cooking meat but truthfully I have no idea how to. Any suggestions? My husband said “if they want to eat I’ll tell them to eat before they come” but that’s not very Christmassy. Menu suggestions would be great!! thanks guys

You can do the vegetable lasagna…and if you feel you still must serve something for the others in addition to that: buy a ham (all you have to do is reheat them and put on a glaze–spiral hams come already sliced). Easy enough. Then just prepare whatever veg sides, potatoes you like. You can put pineapple rounds all over the ham, too, with maraschino cherries in the middle and they will brown up nice and can serve with the ham.
