Is this a good idea on how to fall asleep on Christmas eve night?

Well, I’m 13 and find it impossible to sleep on christmas eve night. I lie awake through most of the night, then on Christmas day, I am too tired to actually enjoy myself. So I was thinking about doing this:
On the 23rd I am going to stay up extremely late to get really tired
Then on christmas eve morning I am going to the supermarket with my mum to get some Christmas Party Food, which will take awhile considering the crowds.(We always have a buffet christmas eve night while watching a christmas film)
Then when I get back home I am going to take my two dogs for a long walk that is mostly uphill walking- I live in the country side.
Then I am going to play on wii fit.
I am also going to have a deep warm bath and am going to stay in it for an hour to an hour and a half.
I am also going to drink hot chocolate before bed.
1)Is this a good idea?
2)How do you spend your christmas eve?

Good idea, to stay up late the night before and get up a little earlier than you normally would, keep busy so your using all of your energy, but don’t over do it otherwise you may become overtired and wont be able to sleep either!
Don’t stay in the bath too long in-case you fall asleep in it! too dangerous!
and anyway its normal not being able to sleep its gonna be the night before Xmas! I’m excited! who isn’t!

i spend my evening with my kids, watching crimbo films and getting out santa’s food
we have a little food in the evening too, and we normally play a board game too!
