Vegetable Soup
Ingredients
Carrot (diced)
Cabbage (Cut small)
Onion (diced)
Mini meat balls
Macaroni (with mini alphabets)
Salt and pepper to taste
Parsley (cut fine)
Action
a. Wash and drain all the vegetables.
b. Put them in the boiling water and cook them until tender.
c. Add meat balls and boil till cooked.
d. Add macaroni and cook till tender.
e. Add salt and pepper to taste.
f. Sprinkle parsley.
g. Serve with bread.

Split Pea Soup
Ingredients
1000g split peas (washed)
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 onions (fine cut)
200g celery
2000 ml water
1 clove garlic
2 carrots (cut fine)
2 slices raw ham (diced)
Salt and pepper
Action
a. Boil slowly 3 hours.
b. Add more water as needed.
c. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Orange Sherbert
Ingredients
12 oranges (juiced)
1 orange rinds (grated)
4 lemons (juiced)
1 lemon rinds (grated)
2 tablespoons milk
250g sugar
750 ml water
Action
a. Boil sugar and water together with the orange and lemon rinds.
b. Boil until thick.
c. When cold put in orange and lemon juice.
d. Just before freezing add the milk.
e. Serve in orange skins.

Milk Sherbert
Ingredients
750 ml milk
500g sugar
1 egg whites (whipped)
1 lemon rinds (grated)
2 lemons (juiced)
Action
a. Scald milk with lemon rinds and sugar, then freeze.
b. When nearly frozen add the egg whites and lemon juice.

Peach Water Ice
Ingredients
750g soft peaches
1 lemon (juiced)
1000 ml water
110g sugar
3 kernels of peaches (Pounded)
Action
a. Boil the sugar in water with peach kernels.
b. When cold add peaches and press through a sieve.
c. Add lemon juice and freeze.

Tomato Cucumber Salad
Ingredients
6 tomatoes (peel)
2 cucumbers (pare and fine chopped)
Little water Cress (chopped)
A few drops of onion juice
French dressing
Lettuce leaves
Action
a. Combine cucumbers and water cress and add onion juice.
b. Cut the tomatoes a slice from the stem end.
c. Remove the seeds and fill vacancies with the cucumbers.
d. Arrange the tomatoes and lettuce leaves, and pour over them French dressing.

Christians should be thankful every day, there is no need to set aside one day out of a year for that.
In the American Thanksgiving celebration, the injustice began at its beginning, a little matter of colonization that led to Native American oppression and removal.
Those who suffer from ‘man’s domination of man to his injury’ (Ecclesiastes 8:9) have little to be thankful for other than the promise of God to remove oppression and injustice from the earth.
It is repugnant to us, it is even more repugnant to Him.
