Larry Carlton, very talented Smooth Jazz artist has released his latest album titled Sapphire Blue and Wow! It’s really a good one.
Carlton has been a heavy hitter in the Smooth Jazz genre for quite some time now and Sapphire Blue is an excellent illustration as to why.
This CD kicks off with a great track, Friday Night Shuffle, that I anticipate will be heard on radio stations everywhere, and deservedly so. It really is a very nice track.
Sapphire Blue is a nicely varied, mix of 8 tracks that are very well written songs by this clearly talented artist.
Listen and I think you’ll agree that the song choices are excellent and the overall production is outstanding as is always the case with Mr. Carlton.
While this entire album is really very good some of my favorites are track 2, A Pair Of Kings, track 7, Just An Excuse, and track 8, Take Me Down.
My SmoothLee Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1, Friday Night Shuffle. What a nice track!

KOIT 96.5 christmas music 2009?????HELP!?
okay so I JUST checked the website and they have an option of playing christmas music and its says on their wedsite “Now streaming on Koit.com and Playing on HD Radios at KoitHD2!” Im freaking OUT what does this mean! I just checked the radio station and NOTHING no christmas music! Will they play Christmas this year!?!?!?? Their xmas music is part of what makes Christmas…Christmas!! please help && answer what does “Playing on HD Radios” mean? and will i ever here xmas music on KOIT??? HELP!!!
HD stations are on HD Radios. They are specific Radios where you have more stations that you can listen to. The ones in your car are most likely regular radios, and when you turn to some stations, it’s static. However, on an HD radio, you can actually hear the music that is supposed to be on that station. For KOIT they have a regular station and HD2 meaning a second stations in HD. on KOIT HD2, the christmas music has started, as well as the online streaming option, but for now you probably have to wait like 7-10 days for the real music to play on the simple radio
