Recently, the ACLU rejected a donation of $20,000 dollars that was given by an atheist. They rejected it because he was an atheist.
The only religious group that I know of that has had any success in asserting their religious freedom is the Jews. That’s why you will hear music in a public school about Jesus and a sprinkling of a Hanukkah song on christmas. If many atheists had their way students would not be obligated to sing songs praising a god, or have to listen to songs praising a god in a public school.
But, this doesn’t happen. Why?. Because not only are atheists the most mistrusted minority in America, they are the least powerful.
