Does anyone else hate the ‘movie dead-zone’ season?
It’s that time between Christmas and the summer blockbusters when all of the movies that probably should never have been released come out.
I hate it when I feel like I want to see a movie, but there’s nothing in the movie listings worth paying full price for.
I did see Gran Torino last night. Very good. That was the hidden gem.
Oh I completely agree.
I hate leaving the theater dissapointed, feeling like I just wasted two hours of my life.
But don’t loose all hope. Believe it or not, there ARE some good movies out there during this sucky string of sucky movies. You just have to look for them.
Right about now is when I head out to the smaller theaters, like the ones that show the more indie films that are only on limited release.
OH, and Gran Torino might be a good bet right now.
