I’m auditioning for a summer production of High School Musical in my area. The cast will consist of kids from grades 4 to 12. I’m currently in 9th grade. This isn’t my first show, I was recently a chorus member in my school’s musical, an extra in a movie, and a lead in 2 Christmas plays in my area. I know typical audition style procedures, but I need some hints on how to really make an impression on the directors. My main focus is on the role of Sharpay, Ms. Darbus, Taylor, or Kelsi. I am not the most skilled dancer, and have been told mixed opinions on my singing.
well they are mainly looking for a person who is coachable. if they tell u a tip, take it. they will then see that u can be coachable and that is a big thumbs up.
Make sure u are smiling. U want to see like u are having fun. Practice ur lines and make them perfect. ANd for the dancing try ur hardest!!!!!
