We”ve included some information on each page for your reading.

Growing up in the era of the Mickey Mouse Club on T.V., I always loved Mickey’s companion, Minnie Mouse. She represented the best of what I, as a young girl, imagined ladylike behavior to be.

So it’s no wonder that girls everywhere still love Minnie’s style. Even now you’ll see little girls wearing the classic red dress with the white polka dots on Halloween. And topping it off always, is her trademark red bow, matching the white polka dot theme.

Of course, that classic look isn’t the only one our Ms. Mouse wears. Depending on the day you go to Disney World, you might see her in any of the over 200 costumes she has in her wardrobe. That’s more than even Mickey has!

Many of Minnie Mouse’s costumes come from her multiple roles in movies and on television. Early on she always sported a small pork-pie hat embellished with a daisy. That look evolved into the multi-faceted wardrobe we know today, including her matching hair bows for each costume.

And her shoes always matched as well. What a stylish gal! One of my very favorites is her cowgirl boots, first worn in the cartoon short, “Two Gun Mickey” in 1934.

She’s also had roles in such classics as Mickey’s Adventures In Wonderland (as herself), Mickey’s Twice Upon A Christmas (as an ice skating competitor with Daisy Duck), and The Three Musketeers (as the Princess of France). She’s even been the proprietress of a night club in “House of Mouse” from 2001 to 2004.

Minnie also had her own special in 1988, called “Totally Minnie.” Minnie’s host was Suzanne Somers. On the show she teaches a nerd (played by Robert Carradine) how to be cool at the “Minnie Mouse Center for the Totally Un-hip” and does a duet with Elton John. Wheel of Fortune’s Vanna White and Philip Michael Thomas have walk-on appearances and we got to see other Disney characters, including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto as well.

When it comes to Halloween costumes, it’s easy to see why our versatile and popular leading lady mouse has endured. There are lots of ways to dress like Minnie Mouse for Halloween, but none is as timeless as the classic red dress with white polka dots and a matching bow for your hair. It’s a costume that will last in our hearts for a long, long time.

Kristina Richardson is a writer and mom who loves dressing her daughter, Emily, in a Minnie Mouse costume for Halloween. This year, Emily was old enough to pick her own Minnie Mouse costume accessories!

What is this movie called?

I remember watching this movie when i was a kid but i dont remember what it was called. I remember that it was an animated christmas movie. It had two mice a fat one and a skinny one. It also had an evil cat. I think the cat was evil. And on the cover of the movie there was a lady and a weird looking man on the front.

Trying to find a video clip for you but this sounds like
“Buster & Chauncey’s Silent Night” from 1998.

Sing Along Songs - Disneyland Fun

Sing Along Songs – Disneyland Fun

$5.80

It’s easy to see why this is one of the bestselling sing-alongs from Disney: it plays like the ultimate family-vacation home movie. Instead of fleeting glimpses of your favorite characters on your home videos of Disneyland, this 27-minute episode showcases Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, and their friends hanging out with kids inside the Magic Kingdom singing (well, their lips don’t move) such popular songs…

Looney Tunes: Golden Collection, Vol. 6

$24.36

Fifteen cartoons dating from World War II give Volume 6 of the Looney Tunes Golden Collection more focus than previous sets. Many of the 1940′s cartoons remain very funny. Bugs Bunny dresses up as Brunnhilda and rides in to the strains of “Tannhauser” in “Herr Meets Hare” (1945), a gag Chuck Jones re-used to greater effect in “What’s Opera, Doc” a dozen years later. In “Russian Rhapsody” (1940…

Fun and Fancy Free (Fully Restored 50th Anniversary Limited Edition) (Walt Disney’s Masterpiece) [VHS]

$1.45

Fun is probably worth the purchase for “Mickey and the Beanstalk,” the second half of this combo-film. “Beanstalk” includes the last performance by Walt Disney of Mickey Mouse. It also has Donald Duck and Goofy as comrades who climb the beanstalk in their back yard to face Willy the Giant. This segment actually achieves the goals of the film’s title. The first half, however, is “Bongo,” the story …
