There’s this guy at work. He knows that I like him and we’ve gone out to a movie. We’ve also watched t.v at his place (at his invitation) after work until like 4 in the morning, but that’s been 2 dates in the course of 2 months. He teases me at work, and we talk, but he’s three years older than me, has a three year old son, and only works on the weekends. He doesn’t text very much and so I only really talk to him at work, though occasionally we chat via text message. He bought me a Christmas present and he’s only ever hugged me. Once. That was it. He hasn’t nixed a third date, but he also hasn’t tried to set one up and I just can’t decide if he’s interested or dragging his feet because he doesn’t know how to tell me to back off.

maybe he likes you but thinks that you won’t like that he has a son. it can be tough for a person to become a potential step person. and he has to worry about what his kid will think
