With 3D movies kicking off, it is of relief to find more and more home 3D HDTV models being offered in the market. Best of all, they are also becoming more and more affordable! If you are currently deciding on getting a new full-sized 3D HDTV, you must get your hands on the gorgeous 50-inch Samsung PN50C7000 3D plasma HDTV.
From a glance, the first thing that you will notice about the Samsung PN50C7000 is its design. Instead of showing off a gaudy futuristic, trend-clasping design, this TV opts for the timeless classic look. Many TV models sports very modern and catchy designs that are bound to go outdated and look old-fashioned in a year or two. Personally, I prefer classic designs as they are guaranteed to remain fashionable for many years to come and the Samsung PN50C7000 is just that.
The screen bezel of this model has a matte surface that looks like a metal finish at certain angles. This is all good because it matches the stand that has a brushed metal finish. Both the stand and the screen is of a perfect rectangular shape with clean lines and edges. Overall it looks very strong, sturdy, and yet sleek at the same time.
While the Samsung PN50C7000 does not come with 3D glasses, it does have a couple of features not found on competing models. For instance is has a system that can convert 2D videos into 3D mode. With that your 3D experience would not be limited to just pre-produced 3D movies. Like most HDTV models, you can stream online content on this Samsung model. The difference is the PN50C7000 has one of the largest selections of online streaming content among any other models at the time of writing. Just to name a few you will be able to stream content from sites like YouTube, CinemaNow, Netflix, Amazon Video on Demand, Vudu, Hulu Plus and Pandora, just to name a few. It also comes with a good selection of internet applications such as Facebook, Twitter and Yahoo Widgets.
We also loved the large array of manual picture settings that are available on the Samsung PN50C7000. This allows greater control over setting the picture appearance to suit a particular movie or your personal preference. Most importantly, it did a great job at playing HD movies. 3D movies played well on this model; in fact it did a better job than many other competing 3D LED HDTVs. It had very deep black levels and accurate colors even in bright ambient lighting thanks to its anti-reflective coating on its screen. All in all, the Samsung PN50C7000 has proven to be an excellent HDTV model, whether you plan to use it to watch 3D or 2D movies. At the time of writing, this HDTV is retailing at just around $1699 per unit.

It will be on CBS 13 December at 8pm. I like it too.
Another great place to shop for Christmas Movie Hulu products is Amazon. They have more than just books!
