Is this girl trying to make me jealous?

ok, so i befriended this girl during last september and ever since our christmas school dance (she saw me busting out my moves), she started liking me and i even think that she has a crush on me(she still does). i’m not interested in her that way but i called her cute in a conversation last september in which i did not mean to be a guy who was interested in her,……(every time i compliment a girl, they end up crushing on me…….) when i don’t chat with her for a couple of days/a week, her messenger status changes to “i miss you/i wish you were online/ i’ve fallen for you, this feeling in my heart won’t go away”.
ANYWAYS, my main point: recently, she posted that she had fun with her date while watching a movie. I know for a fact that she is single and is not interested in anyone in particular.
or am i reading too much into the situation?

Well, she probably did like you but not anymore. Just because she updates her messenger status to “i miss you” etc doesnt mean shes talking about you. The world does not revolve around you so get used to it. sounds kinda harsh but its true…
