Would my students enjoy The Nightmare Before Christmas?
I run an advisory groups where I show my middle school students classic movies. I just got through showing them Fantasia which they absolutely hated. The teacher who I collaborate with is thinking of showing Nightmare Before Christmas for Halloween. I’m a little concerned that the students might have the same reaction to this film as they did for Fantasia. Should I show them this film or should I consider opting for something else like Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein or Young Frankenstein which they might enjoy more?
I think that they might enjoy nightmare before christmas… I know a banch of middle school students who loved that movie…
