What is the original Nutcracker song that A Mad Russian’s Christmas is remaking?

In the beginning of A Mad Russian’s Christmas by Trans-Siberian Orchestra, there is a piano playing a popular instrumental always heard during the holidays. I know that the entire song is a medley of Nutcracker melodies but what is the song featured in the very beginning (only in the first minute of the song). Please help! I’ve been trying to figure this out.
