Is this tradition weird to you?

Im Mexican-American and my parents are from Mexico. Theres a Christmas tradition that on Christmas you lay the baby Jesus in his manger. The figurine is not just something for X-mas. We take him to a church and have a priest bless him. Every year on Feb.2 we take him off the Nativity scene and dress him in new clothes. This tradition is very popular in all of Mexico. Is this weird?

No it is a wonderful one, and something that Mexican-Americans who come to our country should share with everyone else, i cannot say i approve of illegal aliens of any kind, but all Mexicans who come here legally are a blessing to the United States, your people have helped to restore faith in many communities around the land. No, your custom isn’t weird, it is a blessed one.
