Where can I buy a leg lamp (a la Christmas Story) in the Chicagoland area?

I’m looking for a full-size replica of the Cristmas Story leg lamp. I would prefer NOT to buy it from leglamps.com, ebay, etc… Right or wrong, I want to look at it before I buy it. Any ideas?

The closest I’ve ever seen was at Wireless.com and it was a christmas ornament, not a full scale lamp.
