Where can I get bedside lamps that take energy efficient bulbs?

My dad has asked for a pair of bedside lamps as his Christmas present….he is concerned about electricity bills so we have energy efficient bulbs through the whole house. Does anyone know where I can get a pair of bedside lamps that an energy efficient bulb would fit in? I’m in the UK
I’m in the UK and because it’s an electrical item I can’t order from a US site….thanks anyway

It is the bulb that makes the lamp energy efficient. You should be able to fit an energy efficient bulb in just about any lamp you choose. A sales clerk in a lamp retailer should be able to guide you in the right direction.
