How to write a eulogy would definitely be a question on a person’s mind when writing a last message about your beloved dead. Of course, this can be a stressing task; however, to be able to compose a memorable and heart-warming speech, bear in mind that you are only to talk about all the good things you’d like people to remember about your loved one who passed away.
We don’t really have to master how to write a eulogy, but before we can really write from the heart, we should first let ourselves grieve and allow our hearts to feel the pain of loss. We can use this to write a beautiful message about the person whom has touched our life and the lives of all the people who came to bid their goodbyes as well. Think of at least one fond memory and dwell on that great experience with your loved one. Although it may be difficult to think about happy things, it is more important to remember the good things about the person than to think about the painful things that happened or any regretful experience. You can try to start a speech by mentioning a line from a poem, lyrics of a song, a verse from the Bible, a knock-knock joke (just to make the mood a bit more cheery), a song, or any message that would remind some if not all the people of the person whom God has called from this life.
Beginning to write a eulogy can be simple. Stick to what you really want to say about the person and all ideas will flow smoothly. It shouldn’t be hard to write about a person you’ve known so dearly and learn how to write a eulogy for the person who has made a huge impact in your life. Make an effort to gather ideas from your other family or friends as well, that way you can also check to see whether you said all the right things that you could say, and if there are things you wanted to say but can’t quite get out and put into writing.
