Which is better: Koh Phi Phi or Coral Island?
My husband and I are going to Thailand for Christmas this year! I’m trying to get a plan mapped out now so we aren’t completely lost when we get there. I’ve been planning a trip to Koh Phi Phi because so many people have gone and it seems neat. It’s come to my attention, however, that the problem with Koh Phi Phi is that EVERYONE goes! I’ve read the trip are hurried and the beaches have been trashed and people are literally herded onto the boats. Now, I’ve been looking into a little day trip to Coral Island. There is less information on it but it all seems to be nice. Has anyone been to both? If so, which one do you recommend? Thanks!!
It’s just for a day trip. We’ve already booked a place in the South north of Cape Panwa. They are these villas with private pools. Anyway, we’re just looking for a little day excursion to do some snorkeling.

As you say Phi Phi does get crowded 3 days is enough , coral Island a day trip but it depends on your style . I prefer Ao Nang , Krabi ( Not an Island but stunning scenery ) my self where you can relax as well as get a speedboat trip to Ph I Phi , Maya Island , James Bond island , Coral Island , Chicken island , Monkey Island and others
