What do you do with Christmas cards that you’ve received?

Seems like such a waste just to throw them away. I used to tear the cover off of the really pretty ones and use them as gift tags the following year. Any other suggestions on what to do with them?

I save mine. We will write the year on the back by the bar code. The next year we take them out and make them into ornaments or tags. We cut them into a shape that can be folded into a little box if they are strong enough. It is also a good way to recycle and have holidays crafts ready for free.
