What kind of bed should I get my dog for Christmas?

I have an American Foxhound mix. She is 50 pounds – on the large side of medium. I want to get her a new bed for Christmas but I can’t afford a very expensive one. I would also like something that is easy to clean, will last a while, and will keep her warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Thanks!

I’m just going to tell you what I do (because I will have a 80lb dog, and large beds are almost impossible to clean and $$$).

1. Go to Wal-Mart
2. Find a nice, plush comforter
3. Buy it and fold it into quarters
4. Lay it on the floor.

This is perfect because you can throw it (if it is thin enough) into the washer, you can buy a cheap comforter for $30, and it is comfy enough to lay on all the time. If you really want to spoil her, buy a body pillow as well! (My dog loves them to lay on!)
