Why does Christmas call Wikipedia only “the birth of Jesus”?

Quite clearly they need to clean up their propaganda a bit before I take them seriously. #1 Christmas was, before the magic jesus guy, a pagan holiday that celebrated life and rebirth. The pagans celebrated it by putting lights and decorations of such on a tree to resemble life and eventual rebirth. Also duly note that Easter was also stolen by the pagans too. These Christians have alot of balls claiming that they “own” easter and Christmas.

No one has ever, ever said that December 25 was the actual birth date of Christ. It is not recorded in the Bible what day it was. For that matter, if you go by the line that “the shepherds were in the field…” it would imply a date sometime in May. December 25 is simply the day that the Church chose to celebrate Christ’s birth and yes, they chose that date because of the large number of pagan converts for whom that date was already a day of celebration. This gave them a different reason to celebrate. And btw… saying someone didn’t exist because you do not know their actual date of birth is a pretty stupid argument. I don’t know your birthday. Does that mean you don’t exist?

Easter however is a different story. The Bible records that the Passion of Christ took place during the celebration of the Passover. So sorry… you are wrong on that one.
