Why aren’t my Christmas lights working?

I’m using Christmas lights as a decoration under my bunk bed. I just put them up, and a few minutes after turning them on, half the lights have shut off. The whole string is brand new. I replaced the first bulb that was off, but that didn’t help.

Turn them off and unplug them. Go round and check that every single bulb is in firm. If there is a spare bulb in the box try it in every single place on the strand that is not working. If you can’t get them to work I would suggest that you don’t use them. I fear that using them under your bunk could be a serious fire hazard.
