Is acting a realistic career, for me?

Okay. Im a 14 year old girl.
That really enjoys movies and books.
I really like acting,
although i don’t have much experience
i wanna go far in this path.
ive done:
*Halloween performance (dance)
*2 Christmas plays
*Summer performance (dance)
*3 skits
and
*Choir

I am 20 Years Old and I am choosing the same path , Although High school is behind me , I suggest you join plays , clubs anything related ,

I am attending acting classes Iam not naive its a lot of hard work plently or rejection but if you really are talented and love acting and not because of fame then with patience you could suceed

Remember you will eventually need an agent, do your research , since your so young I would have your parents tag along, you dont want to be taken advantage , but attending acting classes , legit ones are a great way to learn more about the craft and ways to open the door ,

auditon as much as possible ( remember you will need an agent, since more auditions are only knowns by agents) even if you get rejected its experience, you never know someone may remember your face.

GOOD Luck your young you got a long way to go, plently of time

I on the other hand have to work twice as hard because age does matter in this industry, but If you believe in yourself and truly love acting go for it.

Dont have high expections, dont assume you will be an A list star because there are thousands of actors out there, and only a few make it to the top,

start off with local plays , local commercials , School Films ( students are always looking to cast actors in their film) and Indie Films

but its all about knowing the right people
remember who you meet , write down anyone you come across in the industry ,
