It was a great movie, but frightening! No one under 10 should see it. And that 10 or 11 year old should be fairly mature. Great visuals, great music, and awesome effects. I highly recommend in 3D, or even better, Imax 3D. I saw it in Imax 3D and it was awesome! It even stuck fairly well to the book! Of course, some stuff was added for effects, etc. Just leave any young kids at home, and Merry Christmas!
