16 gallon fish tank ideas?

i am asking for the biOrb-Silver-Mega-Aquarium-Kit for christmas any ideas for what to put in it (fish, decorations etc.
i have a male betta so everything will have to co exist with it
i hate bottom feeders and snails!

With the betta you could put a mystery snail/a couple of shrimps for the bottom dwellers. I would not put fish that need to be in a large shoal, such as neon tetras as they should be in a shoal of at least 8 to 10 – needing a 20 gallon aquarium.
I would probably put some platys (don’t mix males with females or else you will get too many!) since you can get some that are beautiful, and they are really peaceful fish. I would maybe put 4 or so. getting different colors would defiantly make your tank look nice!

So, betta with a snail and shrimp and platys = colorful tank!
