Musical christmas box devices?

I’m looking for a devise that is either light activated or activated by a switch that will play a sound or some music when placed in a box and the box is opened? I want to put one in a gift box for my girlfriend, so when she opens her pressie it will start playing music.

I think I know what you’re referring to. My best guess would be to check with a good craft store like Michaels or A.C. Moore; they would likely have music box equipment or at least know where you might find them. Another guess might be somewhere like Lowe’s or Home Depot; they may have clever gizmos like that.

The only other thing I can think of are those new gift bags they’ve been advertising, the ones that sound off when someone gets into the bag. But I don’t know if they have some that play music.

Another thing I just thought of are those cards that play music when you open them. You could rig one of those up inside her gift box, that it would come open and play the music when she opens the box.
