Homemade gift idea’s for 11 and 13 year old boys?

I am on a tight budget this year and I am trying to make homemade gifts for Christmas as much a possible. I am trying to make nice gifts, such as for 2 of my nieces I am making crazy quilt bulletin board in the theme of their rooms. I am also making them wish bracelets. I have all the gifts figured out for the little kids also but I am stumped at what to make for the older boys.
The 11 year old plays sports, he’s on a traveling baseball team and also plays football. He also likes video games and skate boarding.
The 13 year old skateboards and plays videogames, but it also very academic and in boy scouts.
I am an intermediate crafter, any idea’s would be great! Thanks

Why arent you doing bulletin boards for the boys – do it in sport team colors – or match their rooms -
You could make unique push pins by gluing sport logos on the heads, or small footballs, mini baseballs, skateboards etc.
Make the bulletin boards – really graphic so they will stand out in their rooms – boys have stuff they like to save too.
Sounds like a really neat gift to me. And especially thoughtful for an Aunt to give as gifts.
Maybe include a homemade shelf or box for video game storage.

Another idea is those blankets with the two pieces of fleece cut in strips all around and then the strips are tied in a knot joining to two large pieces = these are extremely warm, and great for covering up for a movie, or nap. Plus you can get fleece in any color – they also have theme related fleece = baseball, football, or skateboarding – check Joann’s fabrics for kits = or buy the fleece and do it yourself. Again, use sport team colors, or room colors to add a connection to personalization.
